The 2022 Dreamville Chi-League powered by Wilson was held at University of Illinois Chicago’s Credit Union 1 Arena. This year the Chi-League pro-am offered a play-in opportunity for local talent on Aug. 6 for teams to qualify for the three-week tournament. The single-elimination tournament was held on Aug. 13, 20 and 27 that featured eight teams in both the men’s and women’s divisions. The tournament also featured a slam dunk and three-point contest. Once again, the Chi-League featured current and former NBA players, former collegiate stars, local basketball legends, and overseas pros. The semifinals and finals were exhilarating and gave fans what they have been waiting for.
2002 Dreamville Chi-League Game Highlights
Throughout the month of August, Wilson released limited-edition Dreamville products to celebrate Chicago communities. Wilson and Dreamville provided community engagement opportunities, including youth basketball clinics, as part of its national partnership with YMCA of the USA. Also, Wilson provided local programming for the South Side YMCA, Rauner Family YMCA and Kelly Hall YMCA, which are part of the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, during Chi-League 2022. Gatorade served as the official Sports Fuel provider at this year’s tournament.
